You're it.

List five songs that you are currently digging.
It doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words or even if they're any good but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now.
Post these instructions in your blog along with your five songs.
Then tag five other people to see what they're listening to.

1) "Cattle and the Creeping Things" by The Hold Steady
2) "Greatest of All Time" by Archers of Loaf
3) "King of Carrot Flowers, Part 1" by Neutral Milk Hotel
4) "Weary Arms" by Crooked Fingers
5) "How a Resurrection Really Feels" by The Hold Steady

Ok, so I'm on a big Hold Steady kick of late. But the truth is they fucking rock!

The best response to a recent extra credit question I gave my honors students:

Q: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? Justify your answer mathematically.

A: If a woodchuck could chuck wood, the amount of wood that could be chucked would be determined by the rate of which the woodchucker is chucking, and how big his chucker is. Mathematically a woodchucker can chuck wood by the formula C = RS (C = chucking, R = rate, S = size of chucker). Since there are no numbers involved, the amount of chucked wood cannot be determined.
