Name five of your favorite orchestral (or chamber or chorale or similar) pieces of music. Then tag five other people so they can do the same. "Classical" music still rules (even if it's not Classical).

1. Symphony #9 (From the New World) by Antonin Dvorak (This is one of my two favorite pieces of music ever composed.)
2. Solace (A Mexican Serenade) by Scott Joplin (This is my other favorite piece of music, and while not really "classical", Mike did include the Imperial March, which I feel gives me some added flexibility in using the term "classical music".)
3. Symphony #9 by Ludwig van Beethoven (I think this may be the greatest piece of music composed by man.)
4. Hungarian Rhapsody #2 by Franz Liszt (Yes, I have watched a lot of cartoons.)
5. Slavonic Dances by Antonin Dvorak

My friend Rob, a great big classical afficionado himself, once had to leave Lula's Cafe earlier than he intended simply because it was the only non-violent response he could come up with to hearing a woman's cellphone ring repeatedly with a high-pitched synthetic rendering of the "Ode to Joy".

Yup.

Nobody. I'm busy making dinner.
