But I still love The Clash.
Also, Martha gave me a pair of nice headphones for Christmas. They're the big-ass earmuff studio-type headphones, which not only provide high-quality sound reproduction but also keep the earlobes from freezing off on the blustery days. As as added bonus, they block out the coneheaded chatter of boneheads on the subway!

jonsiron once pointed out to me -- the sound quality of mp3s is pretty damn shitty. Either that, or I chose rather low bitrates....
Either way, I'm happy to report I have traded in kicking bass for less hearing damage. Not punk rock at all, I know. So it goes.
