misunderstruck at 05:34pm on 18/03/2007I'm looking into car rental options and was wondering which sounds like the better option to the locals?
1) Plan to return the car on the Friday when we get into Edinburgh, which would likely mean leaving it at the airport and taking buses to (on Friday) and from (on Sunday) the city, but would mean not having to park it in town
-OR-
2) Plan to return it on Sunday morning right before we go and check in for our flight back to London (and NY), which would mean dealing with parking in town for the weekend.
Basically, I was wondering if parking is problematic and if keeping the car really saves much hassle in the way of getting back to the airport Sunday a.m. when compared with bus options.
